Security Standards

Learn how we keep your documents safe and private.

1. Encryption in Transit (SSL/TLS)

All interactions with our platforms are encrypted using industry-standard Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). We enforce TLS 1.3 encryption protocols, preventing attackers from intercepting or eavesdropping on documents during the upload or download processes.

2. Encryption at Rest (AES-256)

When you upload a file, it is automatically encrypted with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256-bit key length. This is the same grade of encryption used by financial institutions and military organizations globally to guard confidential records.

3. Automated File Purging

We believe the best way to secure your data is to not hold onto it. Our cloud environments execute automated cron sweepers every minute. These scripts locate and permanently delete all uploaded and processed PDF documents exactly 2 hours after processing completes. Deletion is instantaneous and uses standard sector-purging to ensure data recovery is impossible.

4. Infrastructure Security

Our server infrastructures are hosted in world-class data centers adhering to ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS compliance regulations. Firewall partitions restrict outside server access to authorized ports, and regular vulnerability scanning protects against server intrusions.

5. Responsible Disclosure

If you identify a security vulnerability in our platforms, please notify our team immediately at security@ilovepdf.store. We will prioritize investigation and patches.
